The Discovery Set — try six perfumes before you choose

About Shopskon

Made slowly, on purpose.

Our story

Shopskon was started by a small team of professionals who share one obsession: scent. For years we collected, compared and argued over perfumes — and kept noticing the same thing. The bottles that smelled truly beautiful were often priced out of reach, and much of what people paid for had nothing to do with what was inside. So we set out to make the perfumes we wanted to wear ourselves, and to offer them at a price that feels fair.

What makes our perfumes different is simple: we spend where it counts. Every formula starts with a careful selection of the finest aroma materials we can source, tested and refined until the blend is exactly right. We don’t run showrooms or rent warehouses, and we don’t pass those costs on to you. With almost no overheads, nearly every rupee you pay goes into the quality of the perfume itself.

Today the same thinking shapes the whole house. Shopskon Beauty and Shopskon Studio bring make-up, skincare and clothing into the same edit — fewer, better things, chosen so that what you wear, how you look and how you smell tell one story.

— The Shopskon team

The build story

One man. One old computer. One big dream.

No team to support him.
No investors to fund him.
No big budget to make things happen.

This is how Shopskon was really built: from an idea on paper to a working store, one evening at a time.

From idea to implementation

How one machine became a whole company.

  1. A man seen from behind at an old desktop computer at night, a notebook of hand-drawn plans beside the keyboard

    The idea

An old computer and the courage to try

It started in the summer of 2026 with an old desktop, a notebook full of boxes and arrows, and one stubborn question: how much can one person really build without money?

No team to lean on. No investors to call. No big budget. Just a refusal to believe that a lack of money means a lack of possibilities.

    • 1 second-hand PC
    • 1 notebook
    • 0 investors
  2. A messy desk with an open programming book, crumpled paper and empty chai cups in front of a glowing monitor

    Learn · fail · repeat

Day after day, a little less wrong

Every evening was the same loop: learn something, try it, watch it break, find out why, try again. Crashed renders, songs that sounded like noise, pages that would not load.

Nobody saw those nights. But every failure taught the machine, and the man, one more thing.

    • Open-source AI models
    • Free tools only
    • A lot of chai
  3. A home music corner with headphones hanging on a monitor showing a waveform, a small keyboard, a harmonium and a tabla

    Build · studio 1

The old computer became a music studio

First it learned to make music: original songs written, composed and sung from scratch, then cut on the beat into Shorts and Reels.

Not copies of anyone else’s song. Our own melodies, our own words, made in Lahore.

    • ACE-Step music model
    • ComfyUI
    • Demucs vocal split
    • Beat-snapped edits
  4. A condenser microphone with a pop filter on a desk arm in a small home studio

    Build · studio 2

    Then a voice studio

Next came narration and singing in real, consenting voices: family and the founder himself. One rule from day one: nobody’s voice is used without their permission.

    • Chatterbox TTS
    • Voice conversion
    • Consent log
  5. An attar bottle being photographed by a phone on a mini tripod, with the finished cinematic image on the monitor behind

    Build · studio 3

A product photography studio on a desk

A phone, a desk lamp and a sheet of black card. The phone takes a plain photo; the computer turns it into a cinematic product shot, ready for the store and for Google Shopping.

    • Stable Diffusion 3.5
    • Phone → studio pipeline
    • WebP optimiser
  6. A monitor showing a grid of modest long-sleeved fashion looks, with fabric swatches and a measuring tape on the desk

    Build · studio 4

    And a virtual try-on studio

For the fashion world still to come, the same computer learned to dress looks on a virtual model: modest, elegant, and ready before a single garment is stitched.

    • Virtual try-on
    • House model
    • Modest-by-design rules
  7. A man seen from behind editing a vertical video on a timeline, with charts on a second screen

    Automate

It learned to edit, research and post on its own

Videos now edit themselves on the beat. A research script studies which YouTube videos break out and why. A small dashboard schedules every post to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and starts with Windows every morning.

What once needed an agency now runs quietly in the background, for almost zero monthly software cost.

    • Auto-editor
    • Trend & outlier research
    • Auto-poster
    • Self-starting dashboard
  8. A hand holding a phone above a desk with attar bottles and a parcel wrapped in brown paper, the old computer glowing behind

    Launch

Shopskon.com goes live with 383 fragrances

All of it powers one store: Shopskon.com, with perfumes and attars for every mood, cash on delivery across Pakistan, and a real person confirming every order on WhatsApp.

Something that looked like a six-figure investment, built on one old computer.

The turning point

Building something extraordinary is only half the journey. The other half is showing up every single day.

You can spend months preparing, perfecting the tools, waiting for the right moment. At some point you have to stop preparing and start showing the world what you’ve built.

Show up · from today

One video a day.
One small step a day.
One more reason not to give up.

Maybe the audience is small today. Maybe the results aren’t what we hoped for. Maybe the road is longer than we imagined.

But every successful journey begins somewhere. Sometimes the biggest businesses begin with nothing more than one person, one old computer and one stubborn little dream.

If you’re building something from nothing, don’t quit just because nobody is watching yet. Keep going. Keep learning. Keep showing up. Your small beginning isn’t your weakness. It’s the first chapter of your story.

What are you building from scratch?

Follow the journey, say hello, and tell us about your own small beginning. Let’s grow together. 🇵🇰

  • Spend where it counts

Fragrance, beauty and fashion chosen to work together, from the first spray to the last detail.

  • Real people, real service

Every order is confirmed by a person on WhatsApp, with cash on delivery across Pakistan.
